Two people died when two gas cylinders exploded in a bakery in the Moscow Region surrounding Russia's capital, police said.
“Two bodies were discovered at the blast site. Thirteen people were injured,” a regional police spokesman said.
Moscow Region police spokesman Yevgeny Gildeyev said the bodies belonged to two bakery workers, reportedly immigrants from the CIS.
An eyewitness told RIA Novosti that the explosion could have occurred because bakery workers used a blowtorch to heat up cold cylinders with gas.
An investigation is underway.
