Russia is determined to stay the course in relations with the United States, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Tuesday.

“We have no doubts about preserving continuity in our relations with the United States,” he said.

“Everything that has been achieved in recent years… has been achieved through consensus,” Ryabkov said, referring in particular to arms control and Russia’s admission to the WTO.

“Moscow unequivocally reaffirms its commitment to this work; there will be no revaluation of values - that would be at odds with the country’s interests,” he said.
