Mexican President Felipe Calderon has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the G20 summit in Los Cabos, the Mexican Foreign Ministry said.
Mexico will host the G20 Summit in Los Cabos on June 18-19.
Mexico believes the forum can better represent developing countries in both vision and policy and will seek to expand the scope of the G-20's development focus.
Calderon also wished Russia’s new head of state success in his new post and stressed the importance of further bilateral cooperation.
