The award ceremony will be held on June 30 in Berlin during a three-day symposium on the 100th anniversary of the birth of a German physicist, philosopher and politician. Knowledge and responsibility in our time will be the theme of the event.
The former Soviet leader will be awarded for “willingness to take responsibility” and “not using force to resolve political conflicts.” He will also receive 10,000 euros.
