MOSCOW, May 23 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine's national soccer team suffered a serious blow Tuesday when doctors ruled Serhiy Fyodorov out of this summer's World Cup, the player's club said in a statement.
Dynamo Kiev head coach Anatoliy Demyanenko said the defender would be unable to play in the World Cup, which runs June 9-July 9 in Germany, due to a hip injury that would keep him out until mid-August.
