Russia's Legkov wins 15km freestyle at World Ski Championship

LAHTI, March 8 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Alexander Legkov won the 15km freestyle race on Sunday at the cross-country World Ski Cup competition in Lahti, Finland.
Legkov finished in 33 minutes 5.9 seconds to edge Italy's Pietro Piller Cottrer (7.5 second behind the winner) and Austria's Christian Hoffmann (20.7 seconds behind the winner).
The next stage of the cross-country skiing World Cup will be held in the Norwegian city of Trondheim on March 12-14.
