CSKA Moscow lost at home to SKA St. Petersburg 3:2 in a match of the Continental Hockey League on Friday despite the return of former NHL star Vyacheslav Fetisov.

CSKA Moscow lost at home to SKA St. Petersburg 3:2 in a match of the Continental Hockey League on Friday despite the return of former NHL star Vyacheslav Fetisov.

The first period saw no goals, and after the second period, SKA was winning 3:0. In the third period, CSKA shot two goals, one in the 46th minute and the second in the 59th.

Fetisov, 51, is the president of CSKA and a member of the Federation Council, the upper house of Russia's parliament. Prior to today's match, he last took to the ice to play an official game in 1998.

High-ranking Russian officials, including Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Emergency Situations Minister Sergei Shoigu and First Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov, were among those watching the game at the stadium.
