Seth Wescott brought the United States its second Olympic Games gold medal after winning the men's Snowboard Cross competition in Canada.

The American was the fastest in the Big Final on the track at the Cypress Mountain leaving behind Canadian snowboarder Mike Robertson with the silver medal and Tony Ramoin of France with the Bronze.

The United States is currently leading in the overall medals standings with 2 gold, two silver and 4 bronze medals.
