Russian tennis player Maria Kondratieva has made it into the semifinals of the doubles tournament in Palermo, Italy, along with her partner Darya Kustova from Belarus.
Kondratieva in pairs with Sophie Lefevre (France) beat another international duo Mariya Koryttseva (Ukraine) and Darya Kustova (Belarus) 2:6, 6:1, 10:6 in the quarterfinals in the tie-break.
On Monday Kondratieva and Lefevre swept another duo Selima Sfar (Tunisia) and Aurelie Verdy (France) 6:0, 6:3. The win took less than an hour.
Kondratieva and Lefevre will face the Italian pair Sara Errani and Alberta Brianti in the finals over the weekend.
