Double Olympic champion pole vaulter Yelena Isinbayeva set the third-best jump of the season of 4.81 meters to clinch her third title of the year, in Lievin, France.

The Russian dominated Tuesday's meet, finishing 10 centimeters ahead of Cuba's Yarisley Silva, who set a new national record. Third place went to France's Vanessa Boslak, who cleared 4.52 meters.

Isinbayeva failed in three attempts at a season's best height of 4.91 meters once she was sure of the IAAF Grand Prix title. She holds the indoor word record of five meters and the outdoor record of 5.06 meters, both set in 2009.

Jennifer Suhr of the United States set this year's leading jump of 4.88 meters in Boston on February 4, trailed by Briton Holly Bleasdale who jumped a centimeter shy of that in Villeurbanne, France, last month.

Isinbayeva, 29, won gold at both the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, as well as three world titles. She has recorded only rare successes over the last two years, winning one Diamond League meeting, but finishing outside the medals at the 2010 and 2011 world championships.

She won meets in Volgograd and Bydgoszcz, Poland, earlier this year, and skipped a meet in Donetsk.
