TASHKENT, September 12 (RIA Novosti, Abu-Ali Niyazmatov) - Tashkent's Center for Prophylaxis of Quarantine & Most Hazardous Infections has ordered mandatory medical examinations for every person arriving in Uzbekistan, senior immunologist Malika Khodzhayeva said Monday.
Medical stations have been set up at airports and railway stations, with contagious isolation wards and laboratories for profound medical examination open in all medical clinics.
"A patient will be administered first aid upon showing symptoms of an infectious disease. If more serious medical attention is needed, he or she will be put in a special clinic," Khodzhayeva said.
