CHISINAU, September 22 (RIA Novosti, Vladimir Novosadyuk) - Russia should restart military pullout from Moldova's breakaway republic of Transdnestr under the Istanbul agreements, the head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe mission to Moldova said Thursday.
William Hill said Russia had done a lot after assuming the pullout obligation in 1999, but the withdrawal was suspended last March and never resumed since then. Russia stopped the pullout citing legal barriers.
