KIEV, February 15 (RIA Novosti, Olga Bernatskaya) - Ukraine and Russia will hold talks at the governmental level in Moscow next week, the Ukrainian prime minister said Wednesday.

"Next week, we are planning to hold talks in Moscow within the framework of our economic committee," Yuriy Yekhanurov told the Cabinet.

He said the committee, headed by the countries' prime ministers, was a part of the Putin-Yushchenko intergovernmental commission that is being formed by the countries' security councils for cooperation in defense, economic, humanitarian and foreign relations issues.

According to the premier, Ukraine and Russia will continue talks on natural gas. In particular, the sides are working on five additional agreements to the contract signed in January on Russia's gas supplies to Ukraine.

Yekhanurov also said Ukrainian Minister of Fuel and Energy Ivan Plachkov would conduct routine visits to Russia and Turkmenistan in the near future.
