LONDON, May 15 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian presidential chief of staff met Monday with a number of British top officials to discuss bilateral and G8 issues, the Kremlin press service said.
Sergei Sobyanin's meetings, including one with Prime Minister Tony Blair, focused on preparations for the upcoming summit of the Group of Eight leading industrialized nations in St. Petersburg, slated for July 15-17, and the Russian-EU summit in the Black Sea resort of Sochi on May 25.
Russia this year holds the rotating chair of the G8.
