KIEV, May 26 (RIA Novosti) - A 25-year-old artist from western Ukraine hopes to enter the Guinness Book of Records by producing the world's largest oil painting, Ukrainian daily Segodnya said Friday.
"I want to paint the whole history of Ukraine, from the foundation of Kiev to the present day," Roman Bonchuk said. "I will also try to depict scenes from the 'orange revolution'."
Bonchuk said he intended to finish his enormous canvas - planned to measure 150 sq m - within a year.
