TEHRAN, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - The Iran-6 countries seeking to negotiate a solution to the Iran nuclear crisis want a relationship with the Islamic Republic that would be based on mutual trust and respect, the EU's foreign policy supremo said.

Javier Solana arrived in Tehran for talks with Iranian officials late Monday, bringing a package of economic and political incentives to encourage Iran to halt its uranium enrichment program. He is expected to present the Iran-6 offer to the Iranian leadership later on Tuesday.

The foreign ministers of the five permanent UN Security Council nations - Russia, France, Britain, China and the U.S. - and Germany approved the package at a June 1 meeting in Vienna. Among the incentives are new U.S. proposals to lift bans on the export of sensitive technologies.

Iran has been accused of pursuing a covert weapons program under the pretext of civilian research to enrich uranium for use in nuclear energy, a charge it denies.
