JAKARTA, June 6 (RIA Novosti) - Indonesia is interested in the possibility of buying Russian Sukhoi fighter planes, the country's defense minister said Tuesday.
Juwono Sudarsono, speaking at a news conference in Jakarta following United States Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld's visit to the country, said the issue was particularly relevant "due to the possibility that the U.S. Congress will reinstate its embargo on selling military equipment to Indonesia."
