DUSHANBE, July 6 (RIA Novosti) - A minor earthquake was registered in Tajikistan Thursday morning, a seismic station in the Central Asian country said.
The epicenter of the quake was 295 kilometers (180 miles) northeast of Dushanbe, the country's capital, on the Tajik-Kyrgyz border.
"The earthquake measured up to five on the Richter scale," a staffer at the station said.
The emergency services said no one had been hurt in the quake and no major damage had been caused.
