TIRASPOL, July 6 (RIA Novosti) - At least seven people have been killed and four injured after an explosion on a minibus in Tiraspol, the capital of Moldova's self-proclaimed republic of Transdnestr, a local deputy interior minister said Thursday.
"The blast was so powerful that it blew off the bus's roof 100 meters away and tore off clothes of the fatalities," Oleg Belyakov said.
He said six people in a trolleybus that had stopped at a red light near the minibus had also been injured.
"Representatives of the Transdnestr prosecutor's office, interior and state security ministries have set up a joint group to investigate the accident," Belyakov said adding that investigators were considering all possible versions.
