KIEV, August 15 (RIA Novosti) - Ukraine's gross domestic product grew 7.7% in July 2006 on the same period of last year, the State Statistics Committee said Tuesday.
It said the main factors in the growth were commerce, transport, construction, power generation and distribution, as well as the mining industry.
Ukraine's Cabinet earlier approved a forecast for the country's economic and social development in 2007 that sets annual GDP growth at 6.5% and inflation at 7.5%.
