BISHKEK, December 6 (RIA Novosti) - A U.S. serviceman stationed at an American airbase in Kyrgyzstan has killed an employee of a company servicing the capital's international airport, a spokesman for the Manas airport said Wednesday.
The spokesman told RIA Novosti that the serviceman, who was on duty at the airport, shot several times at a driver of a fueling company, killing him instantly.
The Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Office and the Interior Ministry are investigating the incident, which occurred at 3:00 p.m. local time (9:00 a.m. GMT), the spokesman said.
