The World Economic Forum opened its annual session in Davos Wednesday. The forum, which will run until January 28, involves 2,400 delegates from 90 countries, including senior government officials and leading businessmen.
"I have a very full program - we are setting ourselves several tasks. I have a separate talks program relating to WTO accession," German Gref said Wednesday on arriving in the east Swiss town.
"We will conduct talks with our European, Latin American, and U.S. partners. We will discuss issues of the multilateral round [of talks on entry to the world's largest trade body]," he said.
Russia signed protocols on the completion of bilateral negotiations on its WTO accession with El Salvador and Costa Rica on Wednesday.
Last November, Russia secured a hard-fought bilateral agreement with the United States, removing the last major obstacle to its joining the world's largest trade body.
Moscow has yet to sign a protocol on the completion of bilateral talks with Guatemala on joining the organization.
The Economic Development and Trade Ministry expects to complete multilateral talks on the country's admission to the global trade body by the middle of 2007.
