Russia condemns bomb attack in Israel

MOSCOW, January 29 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's Foreign Ministry has condemned a suicide bomb attack in Eilat, Israel, that killed three people, the ministry press service said Monday.

"We are extremely concerned by the fact that the tragedy happened when intensive efforts are being deployed to overcome inter-Palestine disagreements and resume the Palestine-Israeli dialogue," the service said in a statement.

Saraya al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades claimed responsibility for the bombing that hit the popular Red Sea resort.

"We are urging the Palestinian National Authority to do everything to prevent such terrorist practices, which have no justification and do not serve the long-term, real interests of the Palestinian people," the ministry said.
