TEL AVIV, March 9 (RIA Novosti) - The Israeli industry, trade and employment minister, Eli Ishai, has been involved in an accident in which he fell three flights in a broken elevator, the daily Haaretz reported Friday.
The minister and three parliamentarians were stranded in the elevator for 45 minutes before being rescued by emergency workers. No one was in injured in the incident, which occurred in one of Tel Aviv's administrative buildings.
Ishai, whose ministry happens to be responsible for elevator safety, vowed to get to the bottom of the matter.
