BELGRADE, May 16 (RIA Novosti) - The Serbian parliament voted for a new government led by incumbent Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica late on Tuesday night.

Kostunica, 63, succeeded Slobodan Milosevic as the last president of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in October 2000 and ruled until February 2003, when a new union state, Serbia and Montenegro, was formed. He has been Serbia's premier since 2004.

Of 244 MPs attending the session, 133 voted for Kostunica, who was nominated by the three major democratic parties. Serbia's parliament has 250 seats.

Bozidar Djelic, 42, will be the only deputy prime minister in the new government. He will be in charge of European integration.

The parliament also approved Vuk Eremic, 32, formerly aide to President Boris Tadic, as new foreign minister.
