MOSCOW, May 30 (RIA Novosti) - Israeli newspaper Yediot Ahronot said Wednesday the country will soon deploy an automatic system on the border with Gaza to detect and kill infiltrating terrorists.
The newspaper quoted a security service spokesman as saying: "This looks more like science fiction... The system has been delivered and tested. Now terrorist incursions from Gaza will be easier to detect."
The system, developed by Israeli defense company Rafael, is said to be able to detect motion and open fire automatically, without human intervention.
The deployment date will be determined soon, the paper said.
