MOSCOW, July 5 (RIA Novosti) - Coca-Cola has announced the acquisition of a 100% stake in Russia's Aqua-Vision from Britain's Health Tech Corporation Limited for 191.5 million euros ($250 million), the companies said Thursday.

The takeover will enable Coca-Cola to increase its production and presence in Russia. The deal must first be approved by relevant regulators in Russia and also envisages the acquisition of Aqua-Vision trademarks united under the parent brand of botaniQ.

Aqua-Vision is located in the Istra District of the Moscow Region. The company produces a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including juices, nectars, drinking water and ice tea.

Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. is one of the world's largest bottlers of non-alcoholic beverages, serving 550 million in 28 countries.

Health Tech Corporation was registered on the island of Guernsey, U.K., in 2001. The holding's subsidiaries are active on the biotechnology market, and health and lifestyle products in 19 countries.
