NEW DELHI, August 20 (RIA Novosti) - At least 22 people were killed and about 40 injured when a bus went over a 300-meter (900-foot) cliff in Nepal, local media reported Monday.
The bus, traveling from the town of Butwal in the administrative district of Palpa to the regional center of Tamghas, skidded off a mountain road and plunged into a river.
Rescuers retrieved 25 injured passengers, who were sent to a local hospital.
No other details of the accident have been made available yet.
