CHISINAU, March 19 (RIA Novosti) - Moldovan Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev announced on Wednesday that he plans to resign.
"We have achieved a lot, but we must give others an opportunity to work for the good of the country," Tarlev told a government session attended by President Vladimir Voronin.
Tarlev has been Moldova's prime minister since April 2001.
