BRUSSELS, June 16 (RIA Novosti) - Cooks from the Belgian city of Tubize have made the world's longest strand of spaghetti in a bid to enter the Guinness Book of Records, national media reported on Monday.
It took some 12 kg (26 lbs) of flour to make the 80.5-meter (264-foot) long strand of spaghetti.
In 2002, the world's largest plate of spaghetti, containing over 1.5 tons of pasta, was served in San Francisco.
