TEL AVIV, July 2 (RIA Novosti) - A Palestinian driving a bulldozer rampaged through central Jerusalem on Wednesday smashing into cars and buses, killing three and injuring over 30 people, doctors and police said.
The heavy machine crushed and overturned cars and buses, sending downtown Jerusalem into a panic before the driver was eventually shot dead by a police officer.
"The officer jumped into the cabin and tried to stop the driver, who resisted, and was shot dead," a police spokesman said.
In March, a Palestinian gunman shot eight students dead, before being gunned down, in the library of a Jewish seminary in Jerusalem, in the worst terrorist attack the city had seen in four years.
