NEW YORK, August 12 (RIA Novosti) - An 11-year-old has been arrested in the U.S. state of Florida for trying to rob a pharmacy with two air pistols, local media said on Tuesday.
The child entered the Walgreens pharmacy, in Orlando, overnight Monday and allegedly told an employee that he was armed and demanded cash.
One of the clerks managed to call the police, who were outside waiting for the would-be robber in the parking lot as he left the store with a rucksack and an undisclosed amount of cash.
The boy has been taken to a juvenile detention center, and will appear in court on Tuesday.
