Estonian opposition to present hearing aid to premier
17:09 29/09/2008
TALLINN, September 29 (RIA Novosti) - The youth group of the People's Union opposition party in Estonia said Monday they plan to present a hearing aid to the country's prime minister, in the hope it will help him to listen to others.
"We want to stress by this present the necessity to start listening to the opinions of other representatives of society," said Monika Kuzmina, who chairs the youth group.
"The premier's arrogant treatment has led Estonia to the threshold of a serious crisis. Unfortunately, Prime Minister Andrus Ansip wants to hear neither the proposals of experts, nor entrepreneurs, nor farmers, nor civil associations," she added.
The hearing aid will be sent to Ansip's office by special delivery.
The youth group of the People's Union of Estonia comprises 3,800 members.
