MOSCOW, October 15 (RIA Novosti) - A Russian man who had been drinking heavily on a flight from the Turkish resort of Antalya to St. Petersburg on Wednesday claimed to be carrying a bomb and threatened to blow up the plane, Turkish aviation authorities said.
Turkey's NTV said the man was restrained by another passenger. Turkish media earlier reported that the plane had been hijacked by terrorists.
The Airbus A-320 jet, carrying 167 passengers, is expected to land at St. Petersburg's Pulkovo airport at 15:20 Moscow time (11:20 GMT).
