MOSCOW, October 28 (RIA Novosti) - Italy will extradite to Russia its national Oleg Akimenko charged with fraud, the Russian Prosecutor General's Office said on Wednesday.
Investigators allege that in 2003 Akimenko, who the general director of the Masloprodukt company at that time, faked a credit agreement and stole $59,000.
"The accused spent the stolen money on personal needs," a statement from the Prosecutor General's Office said.
The top Russian prosecution body requested Akimenko's extradition in March of 2007.
