Argentine president to visit Russia Dec. 8-10

MOSCOW, December 3 (RIA Novosti) - Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner will pay a visit to Russia on December 8-10, the Kremlin press service said on Wednesday.

Talks between the presidents have been slated for December 9.

The Latin American country's foreign minister said in early October that during the visit the two sides planned to discuss cooperation in IT, biotechnology, nuclear energy and space research.

Trade between Russia and Argentina has risen 400 % since 2003, reaching $1.2 billion in January-September.
