TASHKENT, May 2 (RIA Novosti) - At least 26 people were killed in a passenger bus crash in southern Uzbekistan on early Saturday, a spokesman for the country's Interior Ministry said.
A Mercedes passenger bus with 50 people crashed into an excavator parked on a curb of the Guzor-Chim-Kukdala highway in the south of the country.
"At least 26 people died and over 20 injured," the spokesman said.
He added that the investigation is underway.
