MOSCOW, May 21 (RIA Novosti) - At least 13 people died and another four were seriously injured during a fire in a headphone factory in southern China's province of Guangdong on Thursday, Xinhua news agency reported.
The blaze broke out early in the morning on the ground floor of the 5-storey Zhang Peixiong plant in Shantou and destroyed 202 square meters (2,175 sq. ft.). It took some 150 firefighters more than three hours to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters also rescued 28 people from the building.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is ongoing.
