Three Russians killed in road accident in Ukraine's Crimea
SIMFEROPOL, September 6 (RIA Novosti) - Three Russian tourists were killed in Ukraine's Crimea after their car collided with a minivan, the Crimean emergencies center said on Sunday.
The accident occurred late on Saturday on the Simferopol-Feodosia highway near the village of Chemisovka after a VAZ car crossed into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a Mercedes minivan, the emergencies center said.
"The car driver and his two compatriots who were in the car died at the scene of the accident. Another two people were injured," the emergencies center said, without specifying the injured persons' nationality.
The injured persons were taken to a local hospital, the emergencies centre said.
