MOSCOW, November 6 (RIA Novosti) - Honduran de-facto leader Roberto Micheletti announced late on Thursday the formation of a reconciliation government, Latin American media reported on Friday.

A reconciliation government was agreed to be established during last week's meeting between representatives of ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya and the country's de facto leader, Roberto Micheletti.

"I am happy to say tonight that we have completed the formation of the government in time," Micheletti said on national television. He did not however name the ministers who are to take office in the new cabinet.

According to the local media, Zelaya's representatives were not present when Micheletti formed the reconciliation government.

The Honduran Supreme Court still needs to decide whether the ousted leader will be reinstated ahead of national elections next month.

Many countries and international bodies have warned they would not recognize election results if the Honduran polls are held under the Micheletti presidency.

Micheletti has argued that Zelaya's removal was a constitutional transfer of power and not a coup.

Zelaya was bundled out of Honduras on June 28 by the military, acting on instructions from the Supreme Court and parliament, over efforts to seek an unconstitutional second presidential term. He was flown to Costa Rica, and his place was taken by Micheletti, the parliamentary speaker.

The ousted president secretly returned to the country on September 21 and took refuge in the Brazilian Embassy.
