At least 30 people have died in a shooting and suicide blast in a mosque in the north Pakistani city of Rawalpindi, the interior minister told national media.
Two gunmen stormed the mosque during Friday prayers and opened a fire on worshippers before blowing themselves up.
"Two suicide bombers blew themselves up, and the roof of the mosque collapsed," Rehman Malik told the private ARY TV channel. Along with the 30 dead, many more are injured, he said.
No terrorist groups have claimed responsibility for the attack.
Several recent attacks have been carried out by the Pakistani Taliban. An army offensive against the insurgents has been underway in western Pakistan west since early May. Over 2,000 militants have been reported killed so far.
