MEXICO, March 12 (RIA Novosti) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko will pay an official visit to Venezuela on March 16-17, Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro said on Friday.
The official agenda of the visit was not disclosed, but the talks might focus on a joint Belarusian-Venezuelan project to establish two joint ventures to produce trucks and tractors.
In addition, the two states are set to invest about $8 billion into the development of an oil field in the Orinoco river basin by 2025.
The two leaders last met in September 2009 in Minsk.
