A Moscow-bound Boeing 767 with 193 passengers on board made an emergency lading shortly after takeoff from New York's JFK airport, CNN reported on Monday.
Delta Air Lines Flight 30 was forced to turn back due to a problem in one of its engines, the channel said, citing the Federal Aviation Administration.
NBC said one of the engines shut down automatically shortly after takeoff. There were no signs of a bird strike or fire.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the malfunction is being established.
