Ukraine's former Prime Minister, Yulia Tymoshenko, will be taken to court by a police convoy on Tuesday, an official from the Prosecutor General's Office said.
"We have an order from the Pechyorsky Court to detain Yulia Tymoshenko and deliver her to court," official Oleh Pushkar said.
The court issued the order upon a request from the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office, which says that Tymoshenko has repeatedly disrupted investigative measures, Pushkar said.
Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmyn said Tymoshenko would be allowed to go home after questioning.
Tymoshenko's supporters blocked the Prosecutor General's Office building with a minivan and a car.
The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office initiated a criminal case against Tymoshenko in April for signing a 10-year contract on the supply of Russian gas to Ukraine in January 2009 at prices tied to international oil prices. As a close ally of Russia, Ukraine had previously received a discount on Russian gas.
