Three people were killed after a border service aircraft crashed in Ukraine on Thursday, RBC-Ukraine daily reported citing emergencies officials.
The single-engine Diamond DA42 plane of the country’s Border Service went down on a routine surveillance flight in southwestern Zakarpattia region at around 6 p.m. local time, the Emergencies Service said.
Twenty five emergency teams and 480 people, including 90 rescuers and an Mi-8 helicopter are involved in the search operation.
The cause of the crash is unknown.
