At least three Palestinians were killed and six wounded as Israeli aircraft and tanks carried out attacks on the Gaza Strip, Iranian state-owned news network Press TV reported.
Israeli tank fire opened at northern Gaza on Tuesday morning left two Palestinians killed and four injured. Israeli airstrikes on the same day killed one Palestinian and wounded two others.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility for the attacks, which occurred shortly after an Israeli serviceman was wounded by a bomb on Gaza's northern border.
