MOSCOW, October 2 (RIA Novosti) - The head of the UN's nuclear watchdog is due in Tehran on Saturday for talks on the inspection of Iran's second uranium enrichment site.
International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Mohamed ElBaradei will meet with Iranian nuclear energy head Ali Akbar Salehi, the state-run ISNA news agency reported on Friday.
The plant is located in the city of Qom, some 100 kilometers (62 miles) from Tehran.
"During his visit, Mohammed ElBaradei will discuss the course of inspections of the second uranium enrichment site," ISNA said.
On Thursday, Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili, met in Switzerland with officials from the United States, Russia, China, Britain, France and Germany to discuss international concerns over Iran's nuclear program. Talks continued on Friday.
Western powers suspect Iran of attempting to build nuclear weapons, but Tehran says its nuclear program is aimed at generating nuclear energy for civilian purposes.
